These fantastic groups of high school and middle school youth went to South Carolina to participate in a mission trip.
High School Youth Mission Trip
The high school youth, together with Next Step Ministries, began the renovation of two roofs in the communities surrounding Lexington. Despite high temperatures, humidity, and a difficult work project, the youth maintained a positive attitude and focus on ministry.

Middle School Youth Mission Trip

The middle school youth, along with mentors from Next Step Ministries, went out into the community of Gaston, S.C. to help renovate a donated trailer so that a family in need could move into the trailer and have a home. These kids were quick studies with hammers, nails and crowbars and began the tough work of removing rotted timbers and replacing them. They also started replacing the siding. Along with working hard, the youth worshiped with new friends and enjoyed a day off at a beautiful lake nearby before heading back home. These kids showed an incredible willingness and spirit to serve, and were strong witnesses of Jesus’ love to the family and the staff at Next Step Ministries.
