Trinity United Methodist Church

PURPOSE

Trinity United Methodist Church conducts a comprehensive weekday program for early childhood development to include children from the ages of 1 year to 5 years. The program is offered as a special service to the community to enrich and expand the church school program and to help children grow mentally, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. The program admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.

GOALS
  • The learning goals of the Preschool are:
  • To develop oral language skills.
  • To develop fine and gross motor skills.
  • To develop an independence and confidence in oneself.
  • To improve thinking ability and problem solving.
  • To develop number concepts and reading readiness skills.
  • To respect the property and rights of others.
  • To broaden knowledge of the world.
  • To be inquiring, seeking and aware.
  • To become aware of God’s love, His world and how He planned it.
 

SCHEDULE

Children must have turned the age of the class they are planning to enter by September 30 of the current year.

2-day 3 yr. old program: Monday, Friday
3-day 3 yr. old program: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
3-day 4 yr. old program: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
5-day 4/5 yr. old program

The teaching staff strives to create an environment full of opportunities for the development of these learning goals.
